All Dryland Drone pilots are FAA certified commercial drone pilots and are kept current. Our pilots have been flying for nearly 2 years and have covered 250+ miles per month. They are also certified Thermographers with thousands of hours of flight time.
Flight plans are plotted using GPS coordinates and uploaded to the drone smartboard. This allows the drone to fly routes unassisted, leaving the pilot free to scan for obstacles and manipulate the camera angles.
The ArcGIS equipment and software delivers precise GPS coordinates for flight planning and mapping. Dryland can provide this service or use customer supplied data. With over 15 years of mapping experience we benefit largely by integrating our talents into our drone coverage capabilities.
