#1 Are drone pilots required to be FAA certified?

Pilots operating drones for personal use do not need FAA certification; however, pilots flying for hire (commercial pilots) must be FAA certified. All DryLand pilots are FAA certified and current.

#2 How many miles of pipeline can a drone inspect in a day?

One drone can inspect/record for up to 30 minutes on a single charge producing approximately 8 miles of coverage. Depending on locale, it's common to fly 4-5 of these "routes" per day totaling 32-40 miles per day. 

#3 What type of video documentation do you provide?

Dryland currently utilizes 2 cameras on each flight. The first is a 4K High Definition camera along side the Infrared camera that is recorded to an SD card.

Dryland can supply the customer with these recordings via USB drive, cloud based storage via website, in some instances email or any other attainable type of delivery the customer desires.
